DUAL ADMISSION AGREEMENT - # UB1A (Part A)

To Business Administration Curriculum Guide (Part B)
      The following information has been assembled to assist those students who 
      have been accepted into the Dual Admission program with the University at 
      Buffalo.  By completing the following courses, students will fulfill the 
      requirements for the NCCC associate degree listed above, and 
      simultaneously complete credits toward the first two years of the 
      University at Buffalo baccalaureate degree listed above.  If you have any 
      questions, contact your NCCC advisor, the NCCC Student Development Center 
      (A161), or the UB Admissions Office (phone 645-6421 or 645-6900).

      DUAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Completion of the A.S.degree in Business: 
      Business Administration including the courses listed on curriculum guide # 
      UB1A with a minimum recomputed GPA of 2.5 in pre-management courses and a 
      2.0 overall. Dual Admission applications must meet the UB admission 
      requirements, including GPA, in place at the time they apply to the Dual 
      Admissions Program and as stated in their letter of dual admission from 
      UB's Office of Admission.  Refer to the UB catalog or website 
      (http://undergrad-catalog.buffalo.edu/policies/grading/repeat.shtml) for 
      specific information regarding recompilcation of GPA.  

      Satisfactory (S) graded courses cannot be used for the major or 
      prerequisites.
      All high school AP credit or other exam credit will be evaluated by UB 
      (see UB's exam credit evaluation table on the web at 
      http://tas.buffalo.edu/altexam/apchart.php).

      SUNY GENERAL EDUCATION 2000 REQUIREMENTS (for students who started at a 
      SUNY school in the Fall 2000 semester or later). The State University of 
      New York's General Education Requirement requires baccalaureate degree 
      candidates, as a condition of graduation, to complete a General Education 
      program of no fewer than 30 credit hours specifically designed to achieve 
      the student learning outcomes in ten knowledge areas, as specified below 
      (codes in parentheses are used by NCCC to identify appropriate courses):

      Foreign Language (L)
          Community Colleges are not bound by the 30 credit hour requirement; 
      however, students who plan to start at a community college and then 
      transfer to a SUNY school to earn their baccalaureate degree should 
      complete as many general education courses as they can while they are at 
      the community college.
          Completed SUNY General Education requirements submitted to UB on a 
      SUNY GETA transcript will waive parallel UB General Education 
      Requirements.  UB's General Education Requirements are at
