Applicants for admission as degree seeking students who have been registered at another college or university and transfer more than 12 hours of college level non-developmental coursework are classified as transfer students.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

Beginning Fall 2008 all Transfer students will be required to have a 2.0 GPA to transfer to UTC.
Official Transcripts:

Submit official transcripts from all previous colleges and official high school transcript.
SAT Scores:

Standardized test scores are required of some applicants for admission consideration and they will be notified if needed.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement is not required for admission consideration.
Application Fee:

There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.
Interview:

An interview is not required for admission consideration.

Minimum Grade:

The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a D or higher.

You must complete the last 24 credit hours at UT Chattanooga to receive a bachelor's degree.
