  • Accepts Transfers:
    Apply as a transfer student if you have completed 12 or more credits in college-level courses at another college or university and you are entering UM for the first time.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Applicants must present a 2.00 (C) cumulative grade average (on a 0-4 scale) for all college level work attempted to be eligible for admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Send a current official transcript from each college you've attended so that we may process your admission without delays.
  • Application Fee:
    $30 non-refundable
  • Other Requirements:
    Transfer applicants need to submit their medical history records.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You must complete a minimum of 30 credits at UM to earn an associate or a bachelor's degree. Transfer students must earn 39 upper-division and at least 30 credits from UM.
