Transfer Application Requirements

    2.0 overall college GPA
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities are required. If you have fewer than 24 transferable semester or 26 transferable quarter hours your official high school transcripts are required.
  • Application Fee:
    $40
  • Other Requirements:
    A statement of good standing from prior institutions is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transferable courses with a grade of D- or above may apply to degree requirements unless a grade of C- is specifically required.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The University does not enforce a maximum on the number of transferable credits. A minimum of 50% of the coursework required to earn a bachelor degree must be earned at a 4-year institution and 25% must be taken at the University of Alabama.
