  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Sixty-five percent of Stockton students receive aid through grants, loans or work-study. Approximately $36 million is allotted from federal, state and College sources annually. Aid is awarded both on a competitive basis and according to need.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A 2.00 cumulative average is required.
  • Official Transcripts:
    It is every applicant’s responsibility to have official score reports and transcripts forwarded to the Office of Enrollment Management. If you have earned fewer than 16 credits official high school transcripts should be submitted also.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT or ACT scores and official secondary school transcripts if fewer than 16 credits have been completed at other colleges/universities at the date of this application.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation may be required.
  • Application Fee:
    A $50 Application Fee must accompany all applications.
  • Interview:
    A personal interview may be required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    To be accepted in transfer, courses must have been taken at a regionally accredited institution, must have been completed within the last 20 years, must have been taken for a letter grade and the grade earned must be a C or higher.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Transfer students from four-year institutions may transfer up to 96 credits. In order to graduate from Stockton with a bachelor's degree, transfers must take a minimum of 32 credits at Stockton.
