Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    TC does not publish a minimum GPA required for transfer.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit transcripts of all previously attended colleges/universities. If transferring less than 12 credit hours, a copy of the high school transcript or GED will be required.
  • SAT Scores:
    A copy of ACT, SAT, or THEA scores is required. These are used for diagnostic purposes and placement testing.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A Transfer Student Reference Sheet completed by the chief student affairs officer of the last college attended is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $20 non-refundable application fee in the form of a money order. Personal checks are not accepted.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Transfer students must complete the last 30 hours in residency at Texas College to be awarded a degree from the College.
