Located on the border of Texas and Arkansas, Texas A&M University-Texarkana is a comprehensive regional university and provides the citizens of Northeast Texas and three neighboring states a convenient opportunity to earn a four year degree, a graduate degree and a doctoral degree. The university began accepting freshman, sophomore and doctoral students in the fall of 2010. The university provides great value for students by having among the lowest university tuition rates in the state.
Within the university there are three colleges: College of Business, College of Education and Liberal Arts and the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
