Scholarships and Financial Aid:
Transfer students can be considered for two types of transfer scholarships, which include General and Phi Theta Kappa. Students will be eligible to apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA.

Information for Transfer In Students
Degree Completion Programs:
Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS)
Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
Credit may be obtained through accredited tech ed programs. Accredited AAS courses may be accepted if applicable to your plan and you've received the degree. Other vo-tech courses are accepted when recommended by the appropriate department head.
Credit For Life Experience:
Credit can be granted for educational experiences such as in-service training. Limited credit may be considered for military-technical courses. Contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for credit evaluations.

Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA:
A minimum 2.0 GPA on all transfer credit work attempted is required.
Official Transcripts:
Official transcripts from all universities or community colleges previously attended are required.
SAT Scores:
SAT or ACT test scores are not required if the student has been out of high school for more than 5 years.
Letters of Recommendation:
Letters of Recommendation are not needed for initial application review.
Essay:
No essay is required
Application Fee:
An Enrollment Fee of $60 is charged to a student's account the first semester they register for classes at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Interview:
No interview is required for admissions
Associates Degree Required:
An associate degree is not required.
Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade:
There is a 2.0 GPA minimum requirement on all transfer credit work.
Credits (Min/Max):
Students can also transfer up to 85 hours to A&M-Commerce from approved/accredited institutions which may could leave you with just 36 online semester hours from A&M-Commerce to receive your BAAS degree.
