Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A student with less than a minimum GPA of 2.0 may be admitted on a conditional basis. Students admitted under these conditions will only be allowed to register for 12 hours per semester and are required to maintain a GPA of 2.0 to remain enrolled at the college.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Students who transfer into Talladega College must complete the regular application process and have all transcripts from previously attended institution(s) sent to the Admissions Office. An official high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    An official score report on either the ACT or SAT is required.

    $25 non-refundable

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A course must be equivalent to the Talladega College course with a grade of ā€œCā€ or higher to be credited as the transferred course. Courses graded on a pass/fail basis are not accepted.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no limit to the number of transfer credits that may be accepted. Students must meet the residency requirement of a minimum of 36 residence credit hours, with 50% of the course work required in the major must be completed at Talladega.
