Your admission to Syracuse University is based on many factors, not only your GPA. Students can apply as transfers regardless of the number of college credits they have already completed.
Official Transcripts:
Transfer students are evaluated primarily on the basis of their college-level work. If you have completed fewer than 30 credits of college-level academic coursework, you must also submit an official copy of your high school transcript.
SAT Scores:
If you have completed fewer than 30 credits of college-level academic coursework, you must also submit the results of your SAT or ACT examinations.
Letters of Recommendation:
Two Academic Recommendations from professors who are able to assess your capabilities are required.
Essay:
A 250-500 word personal essay is required. If you have not already done so in your personal essay, please provide information on your college-level class experience and why you are applying as a transfer student.
Application Fee:
$70 nonrefundable fee must be submitted with the application.
Interview:
While not required, you may have an interview with a member of the Admissions Committee.
