Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  The first step in receiving financial aid is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as you can. Use SCTCC school code 005534 when filling out the FAFSA.
• Tuition and Fees:
  For most classes, the cost of tuition and fees is $202.51/credit for in-person and $212.39/credit for online classes, for both resident and non-resident students. Some courses and programs have a higher tuition and fees.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  If you have attended a non-MN State college, send official transcripts to Admissions. If you have taken classes at a MN State college, we will access your transcripts electronically. High school transcripts or GED are required.
• SAT Scores:
  Some of the ways for students to be exempt from taking the Accuplacer include previous Accuplacer scores, qualifying scores in the ACT, MCA or SAT tests, and completed General Education level coursework.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Courses with a grade of C or higher will be considered for transfer. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required for graduation.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  15 credits must be earned in residence at SCTCC to be awarded a certificate, diploma, or associate degree.
