Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Students applying for financial aid should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. SIPI's Title IV school code is 011185.
• Tuition and Fees:
  The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) provides tuition, room & board, and books to students at minimal charge. Students must pay required fees prior to registration for classes. All fees must be paid in full prior to registering for classes.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Official high school transcripts and college transcripts are required.
• Other Requirements:
  (SIPI) accepts American Indian and Alaskan Natives who meet one of two tribal affiliation criteria: Verification of US Federal tribal membership from a BIA agency or tribal census office; or Must be 1/4% or more blood quantum of a recognized tribe.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Transfer credits in any degree program of study offered by SIPI must have a letter grade of C or higher, provided the classes are similar or equivalent to courses offered at SIPI.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  A minimum of 24 residency hours in a core area is required for the award of a certificate or degree.
