Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

Applicants must have at least a 2.0 cumulative college GPA.
Official Transcripts:

Official high school and college transcripts must be mailed directly from all institutions attended.
SAT Scores:

Official scores for all required college entrance tests -- for all undergraduate students, scores from the SAT or ACT are required.
Letters of Recommendation:

SSU requires a Statement of Good Standing from your previous institution.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement is not required for transfer amission consideration.
Application Fee:

There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.
Other Requirements:

Applicants must have completed and exited all required remedial courses at their previous institution.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

All courses taken must be completed with a grade of C or better in accredited programs, and correspond in time and content to courses offered by SPSU. A grade of D is acceptable for Core Curriculum courses taken from a USG institute.
Credits (Min/Max):

The max amount of credits accepted from a 2-year is 60, 90 from a 4-year. You must take 20 credits at SPSU for an associate degree and 30 for a bachelor's.
