  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    A private college education should be affordable. SNHU provides close to 90% of students with some type of financial aid. Transfer students could receive up to $18,000 in scholarships if they enroll in our full-time day program.

  • Accepts Transfers:
    Students who have completed 12 or more college credits after high school qualify as transfer students.
  • Transfer Applicants Enrolled:
    In January 2013, 118 new transfer students enrolled. In Fall 2013, 255 new transfer students enrolled.
  • Transfer Agreements:
    SNHU has agreements with all community colleges in NH. For details, visit www.NHTransfer.org. We also have agreements several community colleges in Maine and Massachusetts. For details, please contact our office.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to be considered for admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    We require official transcripts from all the colleges you have attended. We can request official transcripts for you, by having students complete and submit aTranscript Request Release form here - http://www.snhu.edu/files/pdfs/Transfertransreq.pdf
  • SAT Scores:
    Not required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Not required.
  • Essay:
    Not required.
  • Application Fee:
    Apply at www.snhu.edu/applynow and the application fee is waived.
  • Interview:
    While not required, we strongly recommend interviews.
  • Other Requirements:
    To complete your application, we require a list of courses the applicant is currently enrolled in or plans to take prior to enrollment at SNHU.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Generally a course with a grade of (C) or better that applies to the degree program is transferable. If the cumulative GPA is at least a 2.0, a grade of (C-) or better will transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    We accept up to 90 credits toward a Bachelor's degree and up to 30 credits toward an Associate's degree.
