Southeastern Technical College is located in southeast Georgia. Serving Candler, Emanuel, Jenkins, Johnson, Montgomery, Tattnall, Toombs, and Treutlen Counties, the college is the primary public advanced educational institution for this eight county population. Our diverse staff is here to train students in more than 80 programs. We have campuses in Vidalia and Swainsboro. Southeastern Technical College, a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, provides an innovative, educational environment for student learning through traditional and distance education delivery methods focused on building a well-educated, globally competitive workforce for southeastern Georgia.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Financial assistance is available to help eligible students pay for their educational expenses at Southeastern Technical College. Our professional and courteous staff will assist students in applying for the appropriate financial aid programs. Southeastern Tech believes the primary responsibility for financing education lies first with the student and his/her family. When the total resources they can provide fail to meet educational expenses, STC will provide all assistance possible.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement for transfer admission consideration is a 2.0.
  • Official Transcripts:
    You must submit an official copy of all postsecondary transcripts to the Admissions Office. Official high school transcripts or GED scores are also required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Official transcripts from a regionally accredited postsecondary institution documenting successful completion (a grade of "C" or better) in equivalent, program-level English and Math courses may be submitted in lieu of taking the placement test.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Students may receive transfer credit for courses for which they earned a C or better. The registrar will not award transfer credit for courses with grades below a C, including D, F, I, IP, S, U, W, WF and WP.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Southeastern Tech does not publish minimum/maximum transfer credit requirements.
