Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  To determine how much financial aid you are eligible for, start with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA is the form you will use whether you are applying for federal loans, work-study, grants or a combination of these. Students who plan to transfer to SDSU from another post-secondary institution can complete our online transfer scholarship application.
• Tuition and Fees:
  Total Yearly Estimated Cost: $17,482 South Dakota Residents, SD Advantage, & Child of Alumni; $18,014 Minnesota Reciprocity; $20,958 Non-Resident. These costs include tuition, fees, residence hall, meal plan, and books.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Students transferring to SDSU from another post-secondary institution are eligible for admission if they have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and are in good standing with all institutions attended. Transfer students with less than a cumulative 2.0 grade point average may be admitted on probation, but each applicant is considered on an individual basis.
• Official Transcripts:
  Official postsecondary and high school transcripts are required.
• SAT Scores:
  An official ACT or SAT score report is required.
• Application Fee:
  $20
• Other Requirements:
  Students who have less than 24 transferable credits are also required to meet the freshmen admission requirements.
