Shawnee State is a student-focused public university offering a highly personalized, affordable, and accessible education dedicated to the exploration of emerging technologies and emerging ideas. At SSU, our class sizes are small to allow more one-on-one interactions between students and faculty. In student and parent surveys, the personal attention and care by faculty and staff was listed as the strongest single advantage of Shawnee State University. Cost is important when choosing an institution. Shawnee State provides one of the best educational values in Ohio and beyond. Our tuition is among the lowest in the state and is matched and exceeded by our students’ academic opportunities, challenges, and potential return on their investment.
