ACG 4632: Auditing Theory and Application I

Auditing I concerns external fi nancial auditing, in which independent auditors will come from a CPA fi rm to audit a client company's fi nancial statements. We will concentrate on the process of gathering and evaluating evidence to determine whether the client's fi nancial statements are fairly presented in accordance with GAAP. We will also see how audit results are reported to readers of the client's fi nancial statements. Prerequisites: ACG 3113 and ACG 4401. 3 semester hours credit. [A]
