Psychology Field Experience: Group Supervision Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor This is a psychology-related field experience that allows the student to acquire knowledge of how psychological principles may be used in applied settings. Students may be placed in facilities relating to (but not limited to) mental health, education, and business. Psychology Field Experience: Individualized Pre-requisite: Consent of Instructor A field placement in a mental health setting such as a hospital, clinic, human service agency, group home, school counseling office, or specialized classroom. The student acquires knowledge regarding methods of intervention and the treatment philosophy of the placement agency by participating in an observational and supportive role. Training And Development In Organizations Prerequisite: Graduate Standing This course covers the essential competencies in the practice of organizational training and development, including analyzing performance problems; developing skill hierarchies and learning objectives; instructional module development; program evaluation; and transfer of training to the job.
