    HAZWOPER Refresher Course This Health and Safety at Hazardous Waste Sites course meets the 8-hour annual OSHA refresher training requirement, 29 CFR 1910.120, needed by environmental scientists who perform investigative or remedial activities at hazard waste sites or may otherwise be exposed to hazard substances and health hazards.     Occupational Safety & Health Standards for General Industry Prerequisite: None This course designed for private sector personnel presents detailed information on how the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) may be implemented in the workplace. Rights and responsibilities under OSHA, the appeals process, and record keeping are covered. The course also includes an introduction to standards. This course allows the student to become an outreach trainer, to conduct both a 10- and 30-hour general industry course, and to issue cards to participants verifying course completion.
