    PhotoShop Goes Digital Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of computer skills. This class covers a short study on the Adobe PhotoShop program as it applies to use with digital photography and digital cameras. The material will also be relevant to people who are scanning negatives and using computer- printing devices to produce images. The class will cover the differences between the professional PhotoShop and PhotoShop Limited Edition as well as the newest version called, PhotoShop Elements. The course will cover basic photo editing techniques like cropping, color correction and the use of histograms to correct exposure. Students will also be given instruction on special filters, tools and information pertaining to add on tools that can be obtained.     Designing Visual Identities Prerequisite: Knowledge of basic computer skills. Your logo is your identity to the outside world. It is your company's public face. What does yours say? Is it California funky, invitational formal, corporate clever or just plain fun? This class will use Adobe Illustrator to create three kinds of logotypes. A type treatment, a visual shape with a message and a combination of the two. We will examine the "gestalt" of existent logos and analyze our reaction to them.
