Instruction on the nuts and bolts of writing poetry and growth of aesthetic judgment. Basic techniques include linked and evolving images, metaphors and other figures of speech, fixed and open forms, linebreaks, rhythms and various means of capturing a human voice in dramatic and imaginative writing.
