Health And Safety At Hazardous Waste Sites Prerequisites: None Environmental scientists who perform investigative or remedial activities at hazardous waste sites or may otherwise be exposed to hazardous substances and health hazards are required by OSHA to receive a minimum of 40 hours of instruction in hazardous materials safety. This course meets the 40-hr off-site training requirement.
