Introduction to chemical process plant design procedures through economic analysis and actual design of chemical processes. Topics address practical applications to current chemical and biochemical processes and economic constraints. Concentrates mainly on general design considerations and economic principles. Graded In Progress (IP) until CHE 175A and CHE 175B are completed, at which time a final, letter grade is assigned.
