Primarily for PE/Health and pre-physical therapy students; not open to students desiring to enter the nursing program. Prerequisites: BIOL 1010 and 1020, or ZOOL 1050. (4 Units) Natural history, behavior, ecology, environmental physiology, and zoogeography of the vertebrates with emphasis on the ecological roles of vertebrates in their natural communities. Laboratory and field studies of local forms. This course is acceptable for section 1.c requirement for the major. Satisfies the departmental diversity requirement. Prerequisites: BOTY 1050 and ZOOL 1050. (Lecture, 2 hours; laboratory, 6 hours; field trips) (Fall)
