Apply knowledge, skills, and dispositions during an interpreting placement with a mentor. Due to our accreditation under the Commission on Collegiate Interpreter Education (CCIE) the mentor must be a nationally certified interpreter or in the educational setting must have a 4.0 or higher on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment. The mentor will provide feedback and professional guidance to the interpreting student while getting hands-on experience interpreting in the field.
