Emphasis will be placed on the teaching techniques specifically used for these movement patterns and dance focusing on use in grades PK-12 and for adult recreation. This course meets Pennsylvania state standards for physical education teacher education programs and the standards of the Society for Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) necessary for national accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation for Educator Preparation (CAEP).
