Students will study wireless standards (such as IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, ZigBee, 2G/3G/4G/LTE). The course will survey the state of the art in wireless networks and security. Students will also learn security and privacy issues associated with wireless networks. Various attacks against wireless networks and their defense strategies will be analyzed.
