Music Technology Internship offers students the opportunity for practical, professional work and field experiences in various off-campus settings. Internship are to be jointly administered by an on-site Internship Supervisor and a Departmental Faculty Supervisor. Internships are unique to the student but entail a min. of 120 hours of experience.

The Senior Project / Recital serves as the final demonstration of the student's specialization within the Commercial Music Technology Program. Under the supervision of a faculty advisor, the student seeks to make a substantive contribution to the discipline. Considerable latitude in the form of the contribution is permitted. Empirical and historical research as well as creative presentations are all appropriate. Other faculty members of the Music Department are assigned to independently pass judgment on the student's scholastic effort. An oral defense, demonstration or display of the completed project / recital is required.

The course will explore current and sometimes controversial topics in science. Topics will vary, and will be related to the natural science discipline prefix including concepts in chemistry, physics, geology, meteorology and climate science, geography, and mathematics.

Topics will vary related to the physical science discipline prefix including concepts in chemistry, physics, geology, meteorology and climate science, geography, and mathematics.

The course will explore and apply scientific principles that describe and explain interesting current topics in the environmental sciences. Topics will be related to the environmental science discipline prefix including concepts in biology, meteorology and climate science, geology, geography, chemistry and physics.

Introduces students to the concepts of multiple dimensions of patient centered care with the healthcare environment. Emphasizes the nursing process as the basis for collaborative, patient centered care. Provides the theoretical foundation for the development of cognitive, psychomotor, and communication skills necessary to function effectively within nursing and Inter-professional teams that provide care for clients based on open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision making to achieve quality patient care.

5.00 Credits
Focuses on the application of the nursing process in acute care settings to individuals across the life span. Explores the nursing process as it relates to the care of clients in crisis from rape/sexual assault/domestic violence and clients with ineffective response to crisis (chemical dependency/suicide). Considers the nursing care of clients with musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic dysfunction. The last portion of the class focuses on human reproduction in health and illness.

This course introduces professional nursing by examining the history of nursing and the role of nursing today. Communication, cultural sensitivity, ethics, safety, and quality are emphasized. Health promotion and disease prevention are explored.

Clinical practice experience provides opportunities for the student to implement the objectives identified in NURS 1020. Students care for clients in crisis and clients across the life span having musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic dysfunction. Provides clinical experience in the obstetrical setting with mothers and newborns. Offers increased opportunities for medication administration. Offered spring, annually.
