Review of the game of golf: rules, etiquette, selection of clubs, grip, stance, backswing, head position, follow-through, approach shots, full strokes, and putting. Appropriate use of one, three, and five woods and two, three, five, seven, eight, and nine irons. Irons: short approach shots, high loft, distance shots; woods: driver and use on fairway; putting: playing from rough hillside lies and sand traps. A fee is charged. Held off campus. One credit hour.
