An introduction to foil fencing. Designed to provide a sound basic understanding of the history, rules, etiquette, and safety aspects of the sport of fencing. Develops basic technical and tactical skills needed for novice-level competition through emphasis on basic offense and defense, continuation of attack, compound attacks, and practical bouting.
