Review and explore many types of patient encounters encompassed by the scope of practice of the Alaska Community Health Aide/Practitioner (CHA/P). Focus is on professional standard of care issues and provision of competent and legal documentation of patient encounters. Emphasis on proper use of the Alaska Community Health Aide/Practitioner (CHAM) to conduct and document the encounter and its legal significance. Prerequisites: CHP F131; CHP F132. Special restrictions: Employed as a Community Health Aide by a Native Tribal Health Organization.

Review of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the female breasts and genitals, with reinforcement of identification of risk factors as they relate to the development of breast and cervical cancer.
