    This class will explore the intellectual history of women's and gender studies. We will start our exploration in the late 18th century, and follow feminist theoretical ideas about women and gender through to the present. Although we will mostly focus on western theoretical work, we will also delve into non-western ideas, especially as these critique western ideas about women and gender. Prerequisites: WGS F201X.
