Presents the basis for World Missions as given in the Old and New Testaments. The course gives consideration to the missionary call and places stress upon the biblical response to universalism and syncretism. It surveys basic needs and opportunities, selected ministries, and key trends of World Missions.

This course entails a biblical approach to the meaning of the Christian witness through a believer's faithfulness to the evangelistic mandate. It proceeds with an in-depth review of evangelism's meaning, message, principles, and practices. Emphasis is placed on how one may evangelize through personal witness, team activity, and the local church.

A study of major cults and religions of the contemporary world, especially as they constitute a challenge to Christian Missions. Considers the historical development, philosophical system, major tenets, evaluation in the light of Biblical revelation, and counsel concerning missionary work among adherents of selected religious systems.

This course will focus upon the opportunities and challenges of living and ministering in a multicultural/ethnic society. The histories of major American minority groups will be surveyed with an aim to enhance understanding and contributions in light of diversity. Students will develop a biblical perspective on the issues of race and unity.

Surveys the different Hispanic cultures in the United States. Item such as food, manners, traditions, time, basic values and relationships will be covered. The student will also explore existing and future opportunities for service to these communities.

A practical study of missionary life and ministry. Surveys the procedures involved in becoming a missionary candidate and reaching the selected field of service. Emphasis is placed upon the missionary's personal and family life, the education of his/her children, the relationships to one's home church, Parachurch organization, fellow missionaries, nationals, and the adjustments related to cross-cultural living.

This course presents the basic linguistic elements of Spanish for the purpose of building relationships, creating ministry opportunities, and bridging cultural gaps. As a secondary goal, this course offers insight into communication, social expectations, and lifestyles within Hispanic communities.

Designed to develop insights regarding the strengths and weaknesses of missions throughout history with an analysis of the missions movement from apostolic times to the present. While building a sound philosophy of missions, it seeks to discern ways of creative response to the trends of missions today.
