Designed for students who are taking the English Minor, this course assumes that students have reasonable mastery of the kinds of texts discussed and written in English Composition 1 and 2. Students critically analyze and write a variety of texts, emphasizing development of a mature writing style, voice, and grammatical correctness (Prerequisites: ENG1330, ENG1331).

A survey tracing Christianity's history from its emergence within Judaism through the Middle Ages, with an emphasis upon leading persons, events, and movements. From Augustine forward, emphasis will be placed upon developments within Western, as opposed to Eastern, Christianity.
