A varying content course designed to introduce the student to selected major works of one language other than English. Works from English-speaking countries may occasionally be used for the purpose of cross-cultural comparison. The student may choose from a number of specific topics that will be designated prior to each semester. All readings and discussions are in English. May be repeated for a total of nine credit hours when course content varies. Foreign Language majors wishing to have one or several of these courses count toward their major must seek prior approval from their advisor.
