An examination of selected themes and issues in 19th century Continental Philosophy and Literary Theory. Topics may include Idealism, Romanticism, Existentialism, Marxism, Freudianism. Identical with PHL 348 and LG 348. Credit cannot be received for both EH 348 and either PHL 348 or LG 348. (For LG credit, students will be required to complete some coursework in their language of concentration.) Prerequisites: EH 101 and EH 102.
