Analysis and application of basic math concepts and operations emphasizing ratio and proportions, percents, measurements, and simple equations. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better inDVED 021 or consent of Instructional Unit.

Students build skills through exercises in grammar, writing responses to assigned readings, and planning, organizing, drafting, and revising paragraphs.
