Includes image capture, manipulation, and out-put. Exposes students to the hardware and software used by today's creative professionals in a combination of lectures, demonstrations and class projects. Prerequisite: PHT 135. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.

Covers basic concepts of physics, including Newtonian mechanics, properties of matter, heat and sound, fundamental behavior of gases, ionizing radiation, and fundamentals of electricity. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.

Prerequisite for PHY 201: MTH 163 or MTH 115. Prerequisite for PHY 202: MTH 163 or MTH 115, and PHY 201. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.

Teaches principles of classical and modern physics. Includes mechanics, wave phenomena, heat, electricity, magnetism, relativity, and nuclear physics. Prerequisite for PHY 241: MTH 173 or divisional approval. Prerequisite for PHY 242: MTH 174 or divisional approval. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
