This course is designed to facilitate practical, theoretical, and critical analyses of a variety of approaches to interviewing practices in professional contexts. This course emphasizes how communication relates to and even constructs different negotiation and interviewing strategies. In addition, you will learn to identify different types of interviews and their uses while critically analyzing interviews from mainstream media. Students will then participate in the interview process from both the "interviewer" and "interviewee" roles. Through critical self-reflection, students will gain insight into and improve their self-presentation skills.
