The internship is designed to give students meaningful hands-on experience by applying the knowledge and skills learned in major, minor, and general education coursework to on-the-job assignments and responsibilities at a host organization. Student participation, learning, thoroughness and quality of assignments, and supervisor feedback all contribute to the final grade.
Prerequisite:
IDS 450 requires students to be at least junior standing and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.

3.00 Credits
This senior capstone prepares students for professional and graduate opportunities through group and individual activities, readings, course discussions, and various written assignments. Students integrate the interdisciplinary skills and mindsets acquired while taking the liberal arts courses used to fulfill the general education requirements, their chosen minor requirements, their self-designed concentrations as well as other electives, and their applied life experiences. As a result, students come to an understanding of the professional and educational opportunities available to them related to their selected minors and concentrations as well as areas outside their minor fields for which they might qualify.
Prerequisite:
IDS 490 requires senior status or permission of instructor.

Analysis of international business transactions in large and small businesses, multinational and domestic. Functional emphasis on multinational environment, managerial processes, and business strategies.
Prerequisite:
INB 300 requires prerequisites of MGT 200 and a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA.

Deal with accounting problems which are peculiar to international or multinational businesses. The financial reporting requirements for foreign income and investments of the FASB and SEC will be analyzed as they affect depreciation, foreign exchange, and statements of income and expenses.

Study of issues confronting executives as they plan, organize, staff, and control a multinational organization. Lectures, case analyses, and outside projects with local firms engaged in, or entering, international business will be utilized.
Prerequisite:
INB 469 requires prerequisites of INB 300 and MGT 200 and minimum 2.50 CUM GPA.

Individual instruction in applied music covering a course of study derived primarily but not exclusively from the traditions of Western music. Activities include the study and performance of technical exercises and repertoire suitable for solo and chamber performance. Stress is placed on the development of an attitude of artistic maturity on the part of the student and upon artistic performance at all levels of proficiency. The mission of this course is consistent with the Instrumental Music Department and curriculum.

Activities include the study and performance of technical exercises and repertoire suitable for solo and chamber performance. Stress is placed on the development of an attitude of artistic maturity on the part of the student and upon artistic performance at all levels of proficiency.
