Primary focus is the classic and jazz styles of playing, more specifically finger style and plectrum style. Concepts of anatomy and how to properly utilize our bodies with the guitar are the foundation. Students will be exposed to available materials for teaching the guitar and proper curriculum techniques will be discussed for ensembles, development of graded musical items and the business of guitar instruction.
