The dissertation study provides Cohort members with an opportunity to independently pursue research in an area of interest, while being supported by the faculty, mentor and dissertation committee members. Cohort members maintain the responsibility for assembling a Dissertation Committee. The Committee will comprise not less than three and not more than five members. It is expected that the Committee Chair will be a full-time Duquesne faculty member and member of the learning group. At least one additional faculty member and one practitioner with a terminal degree will comprise the Committee. Any variations on the composition of the Dissertation Committee must have the written approval of the Director of the ILEAD program.
