GRE 101: Introduction to Classical Greek I

A thorough study of the conjugation, declension, syntax and vocabulary of classical Greek is undertaken. In addition to individual sentences based on Xenophon's Anabasis, short passages from Herodotus, Aesop, Menander, Plutarch, Sophocles and others are used to develop facility in reading Greek.
