Four overlapping themes will be considered and linked: the relationship between patterns of wealth, poverty and environmental quality; the role of efficiency in reducing environmental impacts; the theme of frugality and sufficiency in advancing development; and questions of environmental equity and the quality of development. Fall Prerequisite: Upper division status. Note: Credit will not be granted for both ENS 626 and EST 426.
