BUS 489: Business Honors Research I

The evolution of the field over the last century is explored, showing (1) how the Industrial Revolution completely ignored environmental and socially responsible business practices and (2) the somewhat more environmentally friendly atmosphere of the Information Age. The course also examines how businesses work, in view of the global need for sustainable decisions and positioning, and integrates an introduction to business and management principles, public health issues, ethical and socially responsible behavior, and ecological issues. May not be taken for credit in addition to BUS 111.
