This course seeks to provide a survey of African American culture in seven core components: 1) History 2) Sociology 3) Religion 4) Aesthetics and Art 5) Psychology 6) Economics and 7) Political Science. This course will introduce students to examining the Black experience from a multi- disciplinary perspective, and enhance clarity and substance of African diasporic history and culture.

Non business majors may enroll in this course for one credit. Students may receive one credit or three credits but not both.
