This is the first in a three-course sequence at the advanced level in Portuguese. It is part of RIT's World language Program, which meets as a regular class plus language lab work. The course will help to further develop proficiency at the advanced level in all skills of the language (speaking, listening, reading, writing, culture). Students will increase their ability to communicate and to understand the language and culture of Portuguese-speaking countries through intensive study of grammar and vocabulary, reading of popular prose selections, and discussion of the culture.
