This course further prepares the student for application of classroom knowledge to the practice of echocardiography by means of a clinical internship. Performing comprehensive echocardiography examinations in both the laboratory and clinical settings will be stressed. The candidate will be expected to perform comprehensive examinations with no assistance. The candidate is also expected to perform an intensive review of all principles related to echocardiography in preparation for comprehensive written and oral examinations.
