***ON CAMPUS*** The Leadership Experience & Adventure Development (LEAD) training is a learning center that utilizes the essence of leadership and adventure in an action-based environment. LEAD gives corporations, students, and community organizations the opportunity to explore diverse abilities that exist within groups and to achieve growth in a number of areas. The spirit of LEAD goes beyond the maze of ladders, ropes, tress, cables, tires, and rubber chickens. To complete various challenges, instructors guide participants in action-based activities that are new and different. These activities require various skills and techniques which will bring a group together. The group experience, when properly accomplished effectively translates back to the work environment and/or everyday life. To provide this opportunity, LEAD has various nontraditional action-based techniques that help guide the learning process including: * ice breakers * trust activities * group initiatives * low rope course * high ropes course
